Maite Caramés
Photographer
I use photography as a narrative image, told in the form of stories, series or sequences. The everyday and banal are always put on stage to demonstrate the fragile line between reality and unreality. I consider the mind to be an inexhaustible source of creative consciousness. The ideas I reflect on are very intimate and human: time, death, rebirth, beauty, desire.
I am interested in both artistic and documentary photography. Many times the border between one type of photography and another is an invisible line that approaches the real world in different ways.
